A 700' ft tunnel under the roadway leading to Whaleshead Beach can be accessed from the forested section of Whaleshead Resort. A flashlight is needed in tunnel. Be prepared to get you feet wet! Upon exiting the tunnel you can either use the stairs and follow a path to the picnic/parking area, and then follow a trail down to the beach, or wade through the water to access the beach directly. Water levels vary.
